IT Program Manager
Mike Julius has spent his entire working career in the Information Technology (IT) field—mostly in the areas of application development and IT Project Management. He has designed, developed, and implemented applications in areas as diverse as managed healthcare, clinical laboratory, accounting, HR/personnel, and physical security management.
He has also managed data center buildouts and the physical relocation of data center assets and operations. He joined the Multidrug Resistant Organism Repository and Surveillance Network (MRSN) in 2012 and helped with its initial formation.
He currently manages the ongoing development and support of the Antimicrobial Resistance Monitoring and Research Database (ARMoR-D) application, its related IT infrastructure, and the development team.
Mike completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia, where he studied psychology and computer science. He has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2010.
