CLINICAL TRIAL CENTER (CTC)
The Clinical Trials Center (CTC) was established as a clinical research unit in early 1992 to support military investigators in their mission to develop new vaccines, drugs, and diagnostic systems to meet high-priority Department of Defense and national security needs. As part of the WRAIR team, the CTC executes phase I-III clinical trials in support of both internal and external partners. Since its inception, the CTC has conducted over 150 clinical trials targeting a variety of military-relevant infectious diseases, including COVID-19, Ebola, and HIV.
