Investigator Dispatch: Diarrheal Diseases
Diarrhea occurring in military operational settings closely resembles “traveler’s diarrhea” commonly diagnosed in civilian populations. WRAIR conducts worldwide surveillance for diarrhea-causing bacterial prevalence and antibiotic resistance.
