CORE (formally Practice Registry)

Many clinicians lack the clinical skills, practice experience, or necessary knowledge to deliver standard-of‐care PTSD treatments to those most in need. To address this urgent need for more effective dissemination of the Veterans Administration (VA)‐Department of Defense (DoD) Clinical Practice Guidelines for the treatment of PTSD, researchers from the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), Palo Alto VA Medical Healthcare System, and New England Research Institute (NERI) were funded by US Medical Research and Materiel Command (MRMC) to develop, implement, and evaluate a novel PTSD Practitioner Exchange.
